Fraunhofer Development Center X-ray Technology EZRT

Germany

The Fraunhofer Development Center X-ray Technology EZRT in Fürth, a division of Fraunhofer IIS, Erlangen has established a close R&D cooperation with Fraunhofer IZFP, Saarbrücken.

Fraunhofer EZRT in particular provides applied R&D work in the fields of X-ray sensors, radioscopic and optical imaging and inspection, industrial computed tomography, image processing and applications as well as optical inspection techniques. Together with the Fraunhofer IZFP, our unique know-how in the complete field of non-destructive testing and monitoring makes us to a perfect partner to find solutions for nearly any material characterization or component inspection issue.

We offer research and development for new and challenging problems up to complete prototype solutionsfor X-ray and optical inspection systems with fully automated reporting as well as the development of individual components and software solutions. We are covering all relevant areas from image acquisition via 2D and 3D computed tomography up to fully automated evaluation and reporting.

Our current business fields cover not only nondestructive monitoring in automotive, aerospace, agriculture, infrastructure or sports but is focused also on the complete materials life cycle, starting with NDT solutions in the field of raw materials and mining, material and compound characterization, process control and inline component quality inspection in production environment, condition monitoring up to resource recovery and recycling.
