Tecnitest NDT

Spain

Tecnitest NDT specialises in the use of advanced NDT technologies and designs its products and services with production quality control or predictive maintenance in mind, with well-defined goals: optimisation of cost, inspection time and, mainly, reliability.

Tecnitest NDT offers a range of technologies including UT Immersion Tanks and the Boretest rail axle inspection system.

The Tecnitest UT Immersion Tanks are built with quality materials and application specific. With a wealth of knowledge in this field, the Tecnitest team are able to manufacture any size of Immersion Tank, suitable for your specifications.

The Boretest is able to test the complete axle from just one side of the train with practically 100% of the axle being inspected at once. By utilising different angular probes to maximise the probability of detection, the Boretest has the ability to accurately inspect rapidly within a short time frame.

Tecnitest also designs and manufactures X-ray cabinets, the Veescan aircraft wheel inspection systems, the SpotCraft for spot weld inspection, Matvel for nodularity inspection and the CETA UT wall crawler.

The CETA automatic wall crawler systems are for continuous ultrasonic thickness measurement on storage tank walls with data presented on a PC screen and recording and automatic evaluation according to API-653.

The CETA UT wall crawlers are very fast, with outstanding strength and manoeuvrability. The systems allow a safe operation on up to 25 m-high tank walls, either welded or riveted.

Tecnitest NDT is pleased to be able to offer two CETA UT wall crawlers: the CETA 2, which can pass over heavily-riveted plates, and the CETA 2013, which can cater for the majority of ultrasonic wall crawler needs.
