The Romanian Association for Non-Destructive Testing – ARoENd is a legal entity, without lucrative purpose, a professional and scientific, non-governmental and independent organization.

The purpose of association is to promote and to protect the activity of non-destructive testing in Romania, as well as the promotion of national and international safety and environment protection norms by all the members of ARoENd.

In order to achieve its objectives, ARoENd will carry out the following activities:

●provides the framework for achieving experience and information exchange in the field of non-destructive testings for all the members of association;
●certification of non-destructive testing personnel according to EN ISO/CEI 17024 and EN ISO 9712;
●organizes the national and international events concerning the non-destructive testing  (exchanges of experience, workshop, conferences,symposia, exhibitions for NDT-equipment, materials and specific accesories);
●cooperation and mutual recognition agreements with similar foreign organizations;
●publishes a periodical magazine and other periodicals in the field of non-destructive testing.
