The Japanese Society for Non-Destructive Inspection (JSNDI) was established on October 25 in 1952 for the purpose of exchanging Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technical information to facilitate and promote research in its field and to apply NDT technology. 

The JSNDI is a general incorporated association registered in Japan to promote Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Inspection (NDI), improving safety and reliability in the industry, keeping safety and security of people.  The JSNDI has been providing academic investigation and promotion of research, education, training, information, dissemination, standardization, publishing and personnel certification, which are related to NDT in general for over 60 years.

The JSNDI cooperates with the National NDT Societies all over the world, International Committee for Non-Destructive Testing (ICNDT), the Asia-Pacific Federation for Non-Destructive Testing (APFNDT), the European Federation for Non-Destructive Testing (EFNDT) and other related organizations.
