Photo and video recordings

We would like to expressly point out that visual and audio material will be created in the form of photos and video recordings by persons and service providers accredited by us during our events. These recordings serve to document the event itself, as well as the participation of individual persons.

When it comes to recordings focusing on individual persons, the participants are entitled at any time to communicate to the persons taking the photos or videos that they do not wish to be photographed or filmed. Should this be impossible or ignored, we will prevent a publication by us and our service providers retroactively when appropriate notification is provided.

We assume that the persons taking part or involved in the event in any other way consent to the preparation and publication of the recordings for communicative purposes, also in social media, by their involvement and participatory behaviour. The consent also includes the consent to the downloading of the recordings from our websites. The consent applies, in particular, if the persons involved make themselves readily available for this by means of, for example, “posing” or “looking directly into the camera”.

By booking tickets or by participating, the participant in the event gives their consent to photo and video recordings, as well as to the usage and publication of such recordings for purposes of publically reporting on the event or for advertising the range of services offered by the organisers on our websites, including social media. If tickets are booked by a third party, they are obliged to inform the participants registered by them about this regulation.

Taking pictures and videos

All types of commercial visual recordings, especially photography and film/video recordings, within the exhibition and conference are generally prohibited.

It is generally forbidden for everyone to take pictures or to do any other visual recordings during the lectures unless stated otherwise by presenter or session head.
