Pi can claim numerous innovations that not only improve the performance of their standard guided wave equipment but also expands the portfolio of applications that the guided wave technique can be used. In particular, the ability to focus ultrasound at specific positions in a pipe can assist in integrity assessment of structures, marinisation of equipment for under water inspection, permanently mounted equipment for high temperature monitoring of critical nuclear components.
